Custom Line, which in 2026 celebrates its 30th anniversary, expands its displacement line under 270 GT with the new Navetta 35, a 34.5-metre yacht with a 7.7-metre beam, currently under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
The project results from the collaboration between the Product Strategic Committee, chaired by Engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. It follows a vision oriented towards innovation while remaining consistent with the formal language introduced with Navetta 38. The stated objective is to consolidate the brand’s excellence in the high-end displacement segment through careful volume optimisation and an enhanced perception of space, while maintaining comfort and aesthetic refinement as core design principles.
Navetta 35 is conceived as a made-to-measure yacht, representing the synthesis of design, Italian engineering and the shipyard’s construction know-how. The Custom Line Atelier is continuously involved throughout the design and build process to interpret the owner’s preferences and translate them into solutions consistent with the yacht’s identity.
The exterior design, by architect Filippo Salvetti, adopts an essential and harmonious language defined by sculpted surfaces and well-balanced volumes. The side detailing evokes a plastic tension inspired by the automotive world, contributing to a contemporary and dynamic profile.
Targeted interventions on the stern configuration and hull sides enhance the cleanliness of the lines and continuity between surfaces, maximising openness towards the exterior and strengthening the visual and physical connection with the sea. The overall design approach aims at an immersive cruising experience focused on onboard wellbeing and conviviality.
Interior design, developed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, focuses on rational and functional use of the entire available surface area.
A key innovation lies in the redesigned staircase concept, developed to ensure fluid circulation and minimal visual impact. On the Main Deck, the staircase is positioned starboard and concealed by a reflective surface that masks its presence beyond the dining area. This solution creates a spacious and luminous vestibule leading naturally to the owner’s suite forward. The lower section of the staircase, visible only through an elegant balustrade, completes a design combining architectural rationality with formal refinement.
The elimination of the external staircase in the aft section of the main deck further increases usable space, reinforcing continuity between interior and exterior areas.
The layout spans three decks with a total surface exceeding 300 sqm between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Accommodation is provided for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins: an owner’s suite on the main deck and four cabins on the lower deck, one of which can be configured with a pullman bed. Crew areas accommodate up to 6 members, with the captain’s cabin and private bathroom on the upper deck, three cabins and two bathrooms forward on the lower deck, in addition to crew mess and laundry area.
The 58-sqm Sun Deck is designed as a dedicated open-air relaxation platform: a central shaded area with a hard top configurable as a lounge or sky bar, a forward sunset solarium and, upon request, a panoramic spa pool surrounded by sunpads aft.
The Upper Deck further enhances conviviality with a 44-sqm panoramic cockpit featuring a dining area for 10 and a full-beam lounge, complemented by a fully glazed 23-sqm sky lounge. Forward, a sunset lounge with sofas and sea-facing sunpads completes the outdoor experience.
Extensive use of glass, with full-height glazing in both the main and upper deck salons, ensures bright and airy interiors, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding seascape.
Freestanding custom-made furnishings by Antonio Citterio are raised from the floor to enhance visual lightness and preserve uninterrupted views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Configurable sofas and seating, without fixed backrests, allow dynamic space organisation consistent with a “nearly transparent” naval architecture where indoor and outdoor share an essential and organic formal language.
The project offers three stylistic interpretations.
Light Mood features natural tones such as ivory, beige and caramel, white lacquered three-dimensional boiserie and textured fabrics.
Contrast Chocolate Mood introduces refined contrasts between dark brown leather, Bone China lacquers and Grigio Alpi stone surfaces.
Contrast Oyster Mood combines desaturated light woods, dark leather and tone-on-tone fabrics, inspired by the harmony between light and shadow.
Navetta 35 is pre-arranged for an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system reducing NOx emissions by 70% in compliance with IMO Tier III regulations. The engine room is designed to ensure ergonomics and accessibility to the main onboard systems.
Standard stabilisation includes Sleipner fins, with the option of Seakeeper NG18 or NG26 gyroscopic stabilisers.
Standard propulsion is provided by twin MAN V12 engines rated at 1,400 MHP, offering a range of up to 1,800 nautical miles at economical cruising speed; alternatively, twin CAT C32 engines rated at 1,622 MHP allow a top speed of up to 16 knots (preliminary data). The 2.2-metre draft at full load allows access to shallow bays and anchorages.
The aft garage on the lower deck is designed to accommodate a tender up to 5 metres and a jet ski. Among the options, the McIntosh audio system contributes to creating immersive environments throughout the yacht.
With the introduction of Navetta 35, the Custom Line displacement range now includes five models: Navetta 30, Navetta 33, Navetta 35, Navetta 38 and Navetta 42.
The composite planing Saetta range comprises four models, from 106’ to 140’, including 120’ and 128’.
The Custom Line 50, an aluminium motoryacht under 500 GT presented at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, completes the brand’s offering.
