Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in Cagliari against coronavirus

The Administration of the Municipality of Cagliari immediately accepted the request of some operators of the Santissima Trinità hospital in need of protective visors to help protect them in their work during this very delicate moment.

Major Truzzu personally contacted the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli management to check whether the team had some shields available or if they could possibly even manufacture them in a very short time.

With an extraordinary spirit of collaboration, the team technicians got to work right away and, with all the materials available, they built 50 face shields which were delivered to the health professionals of the local hospitals.

Max Sirena, skipper and team director: “When the Municipality called, asking us to support the local hospitals, we immediately activated our resources. We built over 50 face shields for doctors and hospital staff involved in the care and assistance to Covid-19 patients    

The whole team got to work, from the guys of the shore team who built the items, to the office staff who oversaw the logistic details. It is a message of gratitude from our team for those who every day are giving their absolute all to overcome this difficult challenge."
