The Greek shipyard TECHNOHULL®, leader in the production of high-performance RIBs, is formulating a number of important new products. The yard is now thrilled to present the new TECHNOHULL® 38 Grand Sport, a model that features a hull with a 24 degrees effective deadrise angle and a 80 degrees bow waterline entry angle able to achieve speeds exceeding 100 knots with stunning stability and exceptional safety.

The extreme version of 3x400 outboards, exceeded the 100knots, mark on an almost day cruiser configuration. Perhaps the fastest V-hull Offshore outboard boat worldwide – 38 Grand Sport is clearly dissolving the stereotypes that want a boat fast and efficient not to be the best in hard use on the open sea.

A patended hull technology

The new 38 Grand Sport is a clear example of the all new TECHNOHULL® DynaStream patented hull technology, fully implemented by the yard. Evaluating the working envelope of each model and the demands of the range, the Greek yard has derived separate hull design constraints. Using state-of-the-art computer programs and hull structure algorithms, key hull design aspects have been confirmed. After several design loops, the hydrodynamic profile is streamlined.

As a result, strake geometry, step number, step positioning, and the variable dead-rise distribution along the hull’s surface, have been optimized. The combination of the above has resulted in a boat that is perfectly balanced, efficient and extremely seaworthy, perfect for fast commuting, yet with a very smooth and safe ride, providing a high thrill factor both for the expert and newcomer.

Speed and more

The internal layout of the new TECHNOHULL® 38 Grand Sport is developed around the center console and it allows to include a small cabin or a single seat. The wrap-around shock-absorbing seats are perfect for safe and steering even in rough seas. To fully enjoy the own time once at anchor, the shipyard offers two large full-width sunbathing areas both forward and at the stern.

 Range isn’t a problem

Stunning performance and high efficiency make this the ideal RIB for those who want to take the weekend off and not worry about the distance to cover. Some examples? With the triple 400hp outboard option, it will only take one hour to cross from Athens to Mykonos Island, less than the time it often takes us just to get to the sea for a weekend. In the same one hour you can go from the Italian Argentario Peninsula to Porto Cervo in Sardinia, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda.
