Grand Banks Yachts Limited continues to expand its factory-direct, customer-first sales model into Europe. With a tradition of innovation and quality for more than 60 years, the company is pleased to introduce the following key members of its experienced team of yacht consultants in Europe: Colin Watts,  Gert Van Barneveld, Albert Gerritsma, Henrik Petersen and Per Thrane.

Gerritsma has more than 20 years of dedicated experience selling yachts and has developed a deep appreciation for Grand Banks, handling sales and service demands throughout Europe. Van Barneveld is a lifelong yachtsman who joined the Grand Banks community in 2004. He’s responsible for the general management and after-sales service, dedicating his focus to customer satisfaction. Watts was recently awarded “Expert Status” for yacht brokerage from the Academy of Experts in London. He delivers yachts for Grand Banks in the UK and mainland Europe, and has more than 30 years of experience selling and servicing Grand Banks and Eastbay yachts.

Petersen and Thrane both operate out of Denmark, serving customers in Scandinavia. Petersen is trained in mechanics and holds a Yachtskipper Diploma. He has a longstanding family history working with Grand Banks Yachts, and is based in Denmark. Thrane is a maritime engineer and skilled navigator.

“These latest additions follow our customer-first, direct sales approach that has been working tremendously well in the United States,” says Hank Compton, Managing Director of Grand Banks Yachts. “We wanted to take the builder-client relationship to a whole new personal level with this sales model, and having professionals and passionate boaters such as Albert, Gert, and Colin on the team will make these goals so much easier to achieve.”
