Paris, 07 July 2020 –The collection of Riva Destinations, the most sought-after locations by international yachting enthusiasts, among others, has been complemented by a new destination in Europe’s chicest capital: the inauguration of the first Riva Privée in Paris, in partnership with Splash Bistro at Port Van Gogh on the Seine. An absolute must for those looking for an exclusive experience. The Riva Privée offers Splash guests the opportunity to visit the French capital by cruising up the river comfortably aboard an Aquariva Super, and to discover glimpses of rare beauty in one of the most romantic cities in the world.

The Riva Privée at Splash Bistro, Port Van Gogh, is one of a kind: the bohemian charm typical of Île-de-France meets the class and heritage of Riva to give guests an unprecedented Riva Brand Experience. In line with the concept of all the Riva Destinations, the interior design reflects the style and the legendary details of the iconic yachts: from aquamarine cushions to chrome, steel details and lacquered mahogany tables, all customised with the Riva logo.

Outside is a stylish beach area, again customised with Riva furniture, offering maximum relaxation. The culinary offering is also first class, provided by Thomas Balland, resident chef at Splash. The Riva Privée at Splash is part of the Riva Destinations project, created to offer yacht owners and others unique experiences and sophisticated locales, the so-called “places to be”, that are all about timeless class and elegance, with a relaxed and informal style that fosters conviviality. Riva Lounges, Privées and Decks are present in exclusive
locations worldwide, including Venice, Monte Carlo, Formentera, Opatija, Mykonos, and Palm Beach.

The magnificent Riva Lounge on the terrace of The Gritti Palace in Venice is renowned for its first-class hospitality, where Riva furnishings have created a magical atmosphere,
overlooking the Grand Canal and offering breathtaking views of the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Salute.

Other dream locations include the Riva Lounge at the historic Riva Shipyard in Sarnico, or the one on the fourth floor of the Monaco Yacht Club, along with the Riva Privée at Garage Italia in Milan, created by Lapo Elkann and dedicated to automotive customisation, with inspiration taken from the Riva Aquarama speedboat. In Greece, at the exclusive Nammos Beach in Mykonos, the Riva Private Deck, created in conjunction with Ekka Yachts, exclusive Riva dealer in Greece, provides an elite hub for
yacht and superyacht owners, with exclusive services, lounge and bar. The Riva Private Deck also offers visitors the chance to enjoy a complex of four Cabanas, each including a private outdoor jacuzzi, unlimited champagne, gourmet meals, a butler and a private driver. Several Riva yachts are also available to guests for transfers and for exploring the island.

The most recent openings include the Riva Lounge and Privée at the Ikador Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa in Opatija (Croatia), a renowned tourist resort that was once the holiday destination of kings, emperors, and artists, and that now enchants the international jet set with its stunning scenery and crystal-clear sea; the Riva Privée at the Molo47restaurant in Formentera, the most glamorous destination of the Balearic Islands; and the Riva Lounge in Palm Beach, where guests can fully experience the true spirit of Florida.

And for fans of the Riva legend and its history-making designs, several examples of the Riva Brand Experience collection are available in dedicated corners in all the Riva Lounges, Privées and Decks, and can also be purchased online at www.rivaboutique.it .
