Avenza, July 2019 – The construction of 40 m MY Panam, CCN’s fifth Fuoriserie motor yacht, ordered last September by a European owner, is continuing well on schedule.
Early this month, the approx. 340 gross ton superyacht – designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, who is in charge of both exteriors and interiors, the latter in cooperation with architect Margherita Casprini – was moved inside the shed where outfitting activities are to be carried out.

Following completion of the hull and the superstructure, as well as of the decks interior layout, the installation of hydraulic and electrical systems, insulation, and activities on the guest areas and crew quarters on the lower deck have now started. This slender and aggressive yacht is going to stand out for her impressive performances, ensured by the light aluminium alloy hull and by the three MTU 16V200 M96L engines – installed last month – that will push her to a maximum speed of 31 knots

Activities are also ongoing for the construction of the 4 hull doors - one of which for the semifloat-in garage that will host a 17’ tender - and on the beach area, open on 3 sides and fitted with a convenient automatic ladder allowing to easily step down into the water. Works have also already been completed on system and structural elements of the bow thruster and the stabilizing fins.

The straight bow endows this yacht with a sinuous and yet modern, dynamic and powerful look, further enhanced by the large irregular-shape windows that let plenty of natural light into the interior salons. The layout features a large salon on the main deck, divided from the dining area by a “green” wall. Forward, the full-beam master suite is fitted with a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with Hammam. Two wide electrically-controlled windows open up on the sides offering a wonderful panoramic sea view. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, which also hosts the professional galley. On this same deck, forward, are the captain’s cabin, 2 double cabins, the laundry, and the crew mess.

The 65 sq. m flybridge features a large aft custom-made pool with counter current swimming system, while a sunbathing area can be found at the bow. Delivery is scheduled for summer 2020.

CCN_ CCN, which has been part of the Gavio Family since 2011, together with the Baglietto and Bertram brands, specializes in the construction of high-performing light alloy, steel and aluminum and composite yachts ranging between 24 and 50 m in length. The production of the traditional Flyingsport line in composite is continuing together with the “Firma” collection, which identifies a line of “signature projects” born from the collaboration of CCN with significant names of design and naval architecture. Among the latest projects, the Firma collection includes the steel and aluminum “small mega yachts” between 30 and 35 m in length by Tommaso Spadolini, combined with the new DOM123, an all-aluminum 37 meters designed by Stefano Vafiadis and currently under construction at the shipyard. Uninhibited flexibility and a strong focus on the client lie at the very heart of the “Fuoriserie” collection, which marks CCN’s debut in the world of bespoke projects – unique masterpieces that respond to the customers’ requirement for full customization.

With this line, the range that the Carrara-based boat builder is offering the market extends further, resulting in a very diversified series of products between 24 and 50 meters coming in different materials and concepts.
