OCEANIC 76’ GT – WORKS IN PROGRESS

Over 40 people are working on this specific project to get it delivered on schedule as the contract has been signed late February with an imperative delivery date of August 1st.
The hull and superstructure that have been faired like a super-yacht have been painted, offering a never seen before mirror effect.
The engine room is being completed and all the equipment has been installed; Stern Thruster, Seakeeper, Hamann Water Treatement Plan, the two 20 kW Kohler generators, pumps, anti-fire systems, Idromar water maker…
The lower deck hand-made produced furniture are being installed.
The interior design of the 76’ GT Oceanic is from Cristiano Gatto whose fees are standard with all Oceanic Yachts. The first 76’ Oceanic has been designed in direct collaboration with the owner of the boat who will keep it based in Golfe Juan, South of France.
Cristiano Gatto recently commented the construction process to the client as follow: “It is really amazing to be involved in the construction of a custom made 23 meter at Canados. I frequently do similar sized yachts, but nowhere else did I see such approach from a builder. The technical office as well as the superb internal joinery shop are simply processing like if it was a 50-meter project. They basically scaled down large yacht processes to smaller yachts, allowing the owner unlimited choices and variants in the smallest details. I will not even elaborate on the capacity of the craftsmen who are simply producing work of art”.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 Acert, the displanning hull, a Canados signature design, will allow the boat to cruise with extended range at low speed and still top 26 knots despite its very reasonable power package.

CANADOS 90’ OPEN – DELIVERED

The first delivery of the season was a Canados 90’ Open. The boat left Rome after four days technical trials to its home port of Ibiza.
The 520 nautical mile route was achieved in 13 hours at the average speed of 40 knots. The boat tops 48.7 knots and can cruise all day at 42/43 knots.
The 2017 version of the Canados 90’ Open will be a new design marketed as Gladiator 90’ by Canados that will be available in three different power packages, making it one of the most versatile open yachts ever:

Twin V12 MAN 1,900 hp coupled to V-Drives.

In this version, she will be capable of a 27 knots cruising speed and will top 33 knots.

Twin MTU 16V 2000 M94L – 2,600hp coupled to Arneson Drives.

She will be capable of 42 knots cruising speed and will top 48+ Knots.

Triple V12 MAN 1,900 hp coupled to Top Systems Surface Drives.

She will be capable of cruising at 46 knots and will top over 55 knots.

CANADOS 76’ Classic Hull #24 - DELIVERED

Canados 76’#24 has just been delivered to her Turkish Owner. The yacht has been highly customized, as most Canados Yachts and particular attention has been paid to the fly bridge layout with a requested oversized hard-top and 20 people seating capacity.

Despite the additional weight generated, the boat outperformed its contractual specifications speed running at 32.9 knots in a 1.20 meter swell with its standard power package, twin MAN 1,550 hp.
The yacht has been delivered sharp on time for the birthday of the owner’s wife, making the client particularly impressed by the dedication of the Canados staff, the punctual delivery and the extremely high quality Canados has been knowns for 70 years.
