This year’s Miami Yacht Show presents some important novelties and like it, the Avigliana-based shipyard too has some important novelties in store for the future. After 30 years, the US boat show changes site and is set to be more spectacular than ever, with a huge exhibition space for over 500 yachts built by the world’s leading shipyards.

This makes Azimut Yachts, the leading foreign shipyard in the United States, one of the protagonists of the event, to which it is taking models from six Collections in another demonstration of its capability to offer the world’s most comprehensive range.

The yachts on show could hardly fail to include the S6, which has been a talking point in recent months thanks to its combination of Carbon Tech and three IPS propulsion units, or the Grande 25 Metri, the new entry in the Grande Collection that was recently awarded the title of “Best Motor Yacht in Asia” at the Christofle Yacht Style Award. Or even the Verve 40, which has been designed specifically to satisfy the needs of American owners. This uniquely original model combines the characteristics of the typical American walkaround with those of a day cruiser and enhances them with exquisite Italian elegance.

Representing the Atlantis Collection are the 43, which combines the sophistication of Italian design with the intelligence of functional, innovative solutions, and the 51, an open yacht with sporty lines plus amazing comfort and performance.

Turning to the Magellano Collection, the models the shipyard has chosen to take to the show are the 43, which embodies all the line’s most representative features, like smooth navigation at all speeds and in all conditions and excellent range, the 53, which delivers stable, safe navigation even in rough sea and has amazing consumption and range and, finally, the 66, the 20-meter mega yacht created for long-range cruising in absolute comfort.

The five Fly line models share perfectly balanced elegance, innovation and hand-crafted quality: the 50, with its immediately recognisable profile defined by the window lines, the 55, whose flowing exterior lines are matched by cosy interiors decorated with timeless elegance, the 66, a yacht with a hi-tech soul offering spacious and welcoming surfaces, the 60, an 18-meter model furnished with soft flowing lines and, finally, the 72, where the combined use of fibreglass and carbon fibre translates into reduced weight and therefore extensive exterior volumes.

From the S line, the 6 is joined by the S7, featuring the massive use of carbon fibre and an innovative layout, and the 77S, born at the intersection of aggressive lines and classy design.

The 30-metre model, on the other hand, is the second in the Grande line, alongside the 25: four VIP cabins and a design brimming with personality are some of its main selling points.

The Miami show, which is one of the most important North American marine events, has been chosen by Azimut Yachts as the backdrop to announce the programme of events organised worldwide to celebrate 50 years of history, and to preview some of the models that will be launched in the upcoming season.
