As the Cannes Yachting Festival comes to a close, AMEL, the La Rochelle shipyard continues its tour of the autumn boat shows. The next stop for AMEL 50, the shipyard’s new model christened at Cannes, is the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle from September 27th to October 2nd.

A look back at a promising edition

At the 40th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, from the 12th to 17th of September 2017, AMEL celebrated the christening of its latest model, AMEL 50, in her Indian rosewood version. This world premiere created quite a sensation among the numerous brand lovers who came to the launch and then attended a cocktail: an important phase in the history of the shipyard. The launch was supported by the presentation of AMEL 50, the film. AMEL 55, another incarnation of the AMEL spirit, also attracted a good deal of attention.

First Cannes, now La Rochelle

Back to its roots in La Rochelle, AMEL will present AMEL 50 at the Grand Pavois, from September 27th to October 2nd, this time in her light-oak version. A different version from the one presented in Cannes, so the public can discover the yacht with a different interior. AMEL 55 will also be on show, in a two-cabin mahogany version. In addition, prior to the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle, trials for the yachts taking part in the European Yacht of the Year will be taking place, a competition in which AMEL 50 is nominated.
