Adler Yacht appointed Mr. Philipp Pototschnik as new chief executive officer, effective immediately. The new CEO’s key task is to lead the Swiss company’s further development and promote expansion on various regional markets. Philipp Pototschnik takes the helm from Alessandro Barizzi.

Philipp Pototschnik has been hired as sales and marketing manager for Adler Yacht in March 2017 and, thanks to his effective performance during last months, he was promoted to the leading role with the company.

Raised in Austria and Italy, Philipp is polyglot with proficiency in six languages, including German, Italian, English, Spanish, French and Russian. He graduated from the Business University of Vienna and undertook studies at Clark University in Warsaw and Lodz in Poland, as well as the London School of Economics in the UK. “It is my great honor and pleasure to have Philipp Pototschnik as the new CEO of Adler Yacht. Philipp has shown in the past months great enthusiasm and efforts in getting the best for the company, and moving this forward”, said founder of Adler Yacht Alexander Vagacs.

Adler Yacht also continues to gather a strong team of experienced sales and marketing experts. The new manager to join the company is Esmeralda Fernandes De Sá, a highly experienced professional in sales of aircraft and a well-known expert in the luxury market and aviation.

Named Adler’s new International Sales and Marketing Director, Mrs. Fernandes De Sá was born in Vienna, Austria. Fluent in several languages, including Portuguese, German, Serbian, Croatian, French, Spanish, she has been working in the aviation industry in Austria since 1989, most recently at Cessna Citation and Embraer.

“For all the years Mrs. Fernandes De Sá has a very strong connection to all of her clients because of the very strong personal approach. No matter if it is Croatia, Turkey, Spain or Brazil, even Asia – anybody, who meets her, remembers her warmhearted character and positive spirit. That’s why her clients stick to her since many years. We truly think she is capable of bringing our company to a new level”, commented Adler CEO Philipp Pototschnik.

The new management team is set take the improved Adler Suprema HYBRID to the big stage this September and showcase this gorgeous yacht at the upcoming 40th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12-17, 2017). Suprema HYBRID will take the outstanding position at slip no. 49 at the prestigious Superyacht Extension in the busy Vieux Port and be available for media sea trials by appointment every day from Tuesday, September 12, to Friday, September 15, from 18:00.

The updated version of the HMS Hybrid Marine System offers quite impressive figures concerning the consumption after its last sea trials in HYBRID mode.
8 Knots - Fuel Consumption - Liters / Hour - 11L
12 Knots - Fuel Consumption - Liters / Hour - 66L

Another new feature is the E-ANCHOR, i.e. automatic positioning system, which allows the vessel to stay in its place automatically without using the conventional anchor. This solution is especially helpful in shallow waters or in natural reserves where it’s critical to protect the sea ground.

This is going to be the first ever organized boat tests for editors for this exciting full-carbon yacht.
