Section 16 is the leader of the first day at 151 Cetilar Trophy M32 the second ACT Cetilar Sailing Series. The Suisse team of Richard Davies at the helm of Section 16 is the leader after day one in Marina di Pisa.

With 4 bullets out of the seven races sailed today in beautiful Mediterranean condition just out "Porto di Pisa" the marina hosting the event, Section 16 secured the daily score.

Sailing condition were almost perfect today with a south westerly breeze between 7 to 9 knts a beautiful sunshine and smooth water. Temperature in the range of 22/24 degrees. Typical, springtime day for the cost of Tuscany. 

Peter Nicholas skippering Ian Williams GacPindar is in second place with consistent scores all along the day. A positive day for him and the GAC Pindar team.

In third is "vitamina veloce" with two wins in the day in the third and seventh regatta. Andrea Lacorte, the helsman of the team, declared himself very happy to sail in his home waters and it is ready to "push harder" in the racing of tomorrow.
After racing Cetilar offered to competitors and guest a physiotherapyc massage under the its "gazeebo" to recover the stress of the day.

Tomorrow racing will start at 1:00 pm, 12 guests are expected to take advantage of the "hot seats" program that will offer them the unique experience of being on board of the M32s in the guest races having a real taste of this high speed racing.

The crew and guests will end the day of today at the Porto di Pisa Restaurant for a welcome party offered by Cetilar in the peninsula of "Porto di Pisa", the beautiful marina that is starting to to be filled up with the ORC boats that will compete next week in the 151 Miglia Cetilar, one of the biggest offshore events in the Med.
