M32 Series Act 5 in Trieste, Viking and Section16 are the first leaders

On the background of a day characterized by light wind coming from South-Westerly and by the wait for the Barcolana, the fifth and last event of the 2017 M32 Mediterranean Series went underway yesterday in Trieste. After a long afternoon, the fleet, composed by six boats, returned to the dock with a total of four races sailed.

To share the first leadership, with a total of 10 points, are Vikings and Section16. The leading couple is followed at just one point by Italia Sailing Team, that at the eve of this event was second in the overall ranking only to four points from Vitamina Veloce. Andrea Lacorte’s crew defended his position by taking the fourth place, not so far from the mentioned Vikings and Section16.

The day was not so good for Team Neverland, that in front of the big crowd gathered for the Barcolana, returned in the harbor as the last strenght of the ranking, in the wake of Team Alabarda.

The final event of the M32 Mediterranean Series, which outs in the table double points, will resume this morning, around 11.30 AM.
