La Solitaire du Figaro, stopover a warm welcome from the territories

Saint-Nazaire, Lorient, Fécamp, Roscoff, then Saint-Nazaire again: for a month, La Solitaire du Figaro crisscrossed the French coasts and received at each stopover a warm welcome from the territories. Unique, rich and authentic moments of sharing between sailors and the general public.
Engaged alongside the stopover partners, all the host territories celebrated La Solitaire du Figaro at the height, and even more, of the history of the most difficult of ocean races and made the event a great success. popular and festive.

A virtual success
While the 34 skippers gave their best in this 52nd edition of La Solitaire du Figaro, the virtual race organized by Virtual Regatta was also hotly contested and enjoyed unprecedented enthusiasm. Over 35,000 players per stage, and nearly 60,000 unique players! A figure twice that of the 2020 edition.

A passion shared by all the partners

The official prize-giving evening which took place yesterday, Saturday 18 September at the Pornichet racecourse was the occasion to announce the start and finish city of the 53rd edition. Nantes Métropole will be the cradle of welcome for sailors and the Figaro Beneteau 3 fleet for a week of preparation before the Grand Départ. The arrivals, meanwhile, will be judged in the charming seaside resort of Piriac-sur-Mer.
