Six races in three weekends, in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xiamen: the XCAT World Championship is back with the longest stint of the season.

After the first event in Fujairah, UAE and the one in Stresa, Italy the team to beat is definitely Dubai Police. Boat #3 piloted by the multi world champions Arif al Zaffein and Nadir bin Hendi has dominated all the appointments so far, winning four out of four races.

First to chase them, 222 Offshore with Giovanni Carpitella and Darren Nicholson, trailing by 48 points, followed by Abu Dhabi 4 (Shaun Torrente and Faleh al Mansoori) back another 10 points.

Three double races back to back will require a strong effort by all the teams, with tight shcedules and little time to adjust the boats. We will see what China will tell us.

Te 14 cats will enter the water in Dishiu Lake in Shangai on Friday October 12th at 11:00 local time, followed by the Pole Position at 14:30. Race 1 and 2 will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Chinese time zone is GMT + 8.
