Marina Genova gets the MaRINA EXCELLENCE certification

Marina Genova (44°25’N – 08°50’E) gets the RINA “MaRINA Excellence” certification scheme, the first national rating of the services offered by marinas in terms of port system, tourism and sustainability. 

Marina Genova reached the maximum score foreseen by the scheme, thanks to many strengths, including 15 meters draught that allow mooring boats, even sailing yachts, of any size, an efficient hospitality desk services, restaurants, hotels and shops available in the Marina. Moreover, Marina Genova shows an added value thanks to the 24 Plus and 50 Gold certifications, achieved by the facility, which attest its capacity to greet yachts over 24 and 50 meters. 

Marina Genova is, in fact, one of Mediterranean’s nautical centres of excellence, among the very few capable of offering hospitality to Super Yachts up to 130 meters in length, with higher standards of service to meet all customers’ needs, and particular attention to crews' leisure time (We Love Crew is the strategic activity followed, in the Marina, by the Crew Social Manager and the Crew Guide, two professional figures in charge of organizing many “social” moments). A few minutes from the centre of Genoa, in a highly integrated area with the territory, it offers to super and mega yachts an unparalleled logistics solution (the International Airport is 5 minutes away), specialist expertise (the widest offer of refit & repair shipyards), strategic positioning (in the middle of the luxury triangle Portofino - Portocervo - Saint Tropez).

Marina Genova, in particular, offers more than 500 berths, of which 100 are for Super and Mega Yachts up to 130 metres, the largest fuel duty paid and duty free docks in the Mediterranean (from 100m and 150m), a shipyard area for all ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations, maritime agencies and several other services dedicated to superyachts, restaurants, hotels, commercial activities and initiatives for ship owners, guests and crews.
