MarQuip has opened new premises in the Netherlands

Leading expert in superyacht exhaust systems MarQuip has opened new premises in the Netherlands. Designed to enhance the company’s ability to offer fully-custom services while increasing its independence from sister-company Discom, the new MarQuip location features the very latest software and engineering tools.

The new facility in Alblasserdam is fully dedicated to the design and engineering of first-class underwater and water-cooled superyacht exhaust systems. “As a sales & engineering company MarQuip will continue to work closely with our manufacturing partners to create the hardware we devise with our clients,” explains general sales manager Dennis Bravenboer. “The move enhances our ability to offer clients a truly bespoke service that reflects the demanding nature of the superyacht projects in which we are involved.”

MarQuip has been making headlines recently for its achievements with IMO TIER III-certified exhaust systems as well as a range of other projects. “Our new facility and way of working means we can respond quicker and make our overall service even better,” adds Bravenboer. “We are also prepared for further growth, reflecting the increasingly specialist nature of our work. MarQuip can now take on more and bigger projects at the same time, optimising the interaction with yards, owners, management companies and captains to improve the quality of their exhaust systems.”
