Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award 2021: Rule amendment

The schedule of the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award 2021 is amended in order to favour an exciting prize giving.

August 4, 2021 - The operational calendar of the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award 2021 is amended and will provide more time to photographers, the public and the international jury. Due to the cancellation of the Yacht Racing Forum because of the Covid 19 pandemic, the awards ceremony is postponed to November. 

As a result, the submission of images has also been postponed, to 5 October, while voting online will take place from 14 October to 3 November.

The 20 best images will be exhibited in public from 12 to 14 November, while the public will be invited to vote for their favourite images. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 13 November at an event to be announced later in the autumn.

Amended rules
 Submission of the photos is open. The photos must be submitted until October 5.
The 80 best images will be published on the event website on October 14, 2020.
Public votes will be open between October 14, 2021 and November 3, 2021.
The 20 best images chosen by the international jury will be exhibited in public.
The winner of the contest will be celebrated in public, while a prize money and other prizes will be distributed among the winners. Two "secondary" awards will also be presented: the Public Award (based on public votes) and the the Event Award, selected by visitors at the venue of the prize giving.
