Heesen Yachts started the year in good cheer by launching 55m Project Antares on 4 January, boasting an exterior design by Omega Architects, which she shares with two sisterships: Laurentia and Azamanta.

Eye-catching extra large windows forward on port side allow natural light to flood in the spacious master stateroom.

Antares, a 55m steel-hulled, offers comfort, safety and speed. She also features a FDHF (fast displacement hull form) hull by Van Oossanen.

Antares has some special features to carry out her role as mothership to the owner’s sport fishing fleet, such as the possibility to re-fuel and re-charge two sport fishing boats, allowing for several days out at sea.

Moreover, Project Antares boasts a major difference from her equally beautiful sister ships: an owner’s apartment that is 30 percent larger, having been extended from 62 to 80 sqm.

She was sold to an experienced American superyacht owner in early 2017 and will be delivered later this year.
