Nauta Design celebrates G2 at the ISS awards

Superyacht

It was another success for Nauta Design when the International Superyacht Society gave G2 the ISS Award for “Best Refit” on October 30th in Fort Lauderdale.

Originally built as “Cinderella IV” by Vitters in 2009, the yacht was renamed “G2” after an extensive refit carried out in 2018 by Pendennis.
Tripp Design, the original Naval Architect, was responsible for the changes made to the structures and on deck while Nauta Design re-designed the interiors optimizing the layout without changing interior volumes and giving the yacht a modern, balanced and welcoming look.

The ISS awards are consigned every year during the ISS Awards Gala Night held in Fort Lauderdale in occasion of the International Boat Show.
The aim of the ISS Design Award is to encourage and develop world standards of excellence in the design and construction of superyachts.
ISS was founded in 1989 and represents the large yacht industry. Their mission is to serve as a communications conduit for issues affecting the marketplace, owners, crew and industry members; and to recognise achievement as well as provide educational opportunities and networking events.
The ISS funding comes from its members and sponsors which in turn enables the Association to work on initiatives that benefit the large yacht industry as a whole.

Nauta Design congratulates G2’s Owners and thanks them for having given us the chance to be an integral part of the refit of such a fantastic yacht. Thanks also to Tripp Design Naval Architecture and Pendennis for their collaboration throughout the process all the way to the new G2. We also thank the International Superyacht Society for their precious work in support of the superyacht industry.
