The brand new model M30 Walk-around named “M/Y Taboo of the Seas” , engineered and built by the historical shipyard based in Viareggio, exterior designed throughout the collaboration between the Centro Stile Maiora and the design studio Quartostile and with the interior design signed by Fossati Design Bureau architectural studio, has a great success at the World Yachts Trophies at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019, winning the prestigious award of:

“REVELATION OF THE YEAR 2019”

The award is thanks to the new vision given by designers and shipyard to the new model, giving a full connection between interior and exterior spaces combining the “ glamour-contemporary” interior style that gives a touch of warmth and hospitality on the bright ( with floor-to-ceiling windows) and generous interiors volumes with the innovative flybridge "walk-around" solution: the sundeck is finally all-around accessible, neat and clear with no obstacles, no doors, no steps. Everything is on a single level in order to allow an uninterrupted environment, between the aft flybridge and the foredeck, of incredible 120 sq. m.

Such innovative choices, combined with the Italian craftmanship and advanced technological solutions, deliver MAIORA 30 to the market as one of the most significant breakthroughs.
She is a 30.46m with 7.5m of beam and 112.7 t of Full Displacement with a cuisine speed of 23kn and a maximum speed od 23kn.
This new model, which is also registered as a boat under 24 meters, has an overall length of 30.50 meters, and has a width of 7.50 meters - that makes it the largest in its category. The internal volumes and external areas are in fact comparable to a boat with dimensions of 35 metres/115 feet.

The interior style reflects bright and sober environments, with a touch of warmth and hospitality.
Creating your own style that acts as the best ambassador for your brand is about being unique for yourself but at the same time identifiable for others. The studio of the Architect Fossati – Studio Fossati Design Bureau of Turin, which had already collaborated with the shipyard for the interiors of a 40 mt steel explorer in 2018 – is the hand of the “Contemporary Truths and Classic Wisdom we meet onboard. The interior design is enhanced by custom tinted oak as the main design theme. White leather and mat brass inlays, in turn, add to the luxury sensation a touch of royal glamour, reflecting contemporary style with distinguishable and elegant aesthetics using warm neutrals.

The huge interior volumes are framed by large windows that allow much more light in, as well as a complete and wide view of the outside, giving the interior more habitability and an even more spectacular appearance: a continuous environment with the outside - thanks to a generous height of more than 210 cm, typical of larger motor yachts. It is on the main deck that the large available spaces are most appreciated: the bright saloon offers both a relaxation area with large sofas with chaise longue and coffee table, and the dining area with a table where there are comfortable seats for up to 10 people.

The target goal with such layout is to obtain areas dedicated to the crew, without disturbing the presence of guests on board. The crew has access to the side entrance to the galley, which leads to the lower deck where there is a large dinette complete with seating, table, refrigerator, sink, TV and display for CCTV control and monitoring system of the boat.

The laundry area consists of a washing machine and a dryer and is located in the crew quarter.
The two double cabins and a single cabin accommodate a total of up-to-five people and two bathrooms with shower complete the area reserved for the crew.
Access to the wheelhouse is from the hallway created between the door of the galley and the door of the living room for a much better privacy for guests.
The galley, very well-optimised for the best on-board functionality, offers the possibility to store food and drinks for long cruises, thanks to large refrigerators that provide a wide range of storage options.

A generous wine cellar and an icemaker, as well as professional appliances and accessories, complete the equipment.
The Master Stateroom, forward on the main deck, has been designed to enjoy a spectacular sea view even when in bed, and is equipped with bathroom equipped with double sink. The Suite is completed by a Vanity, which can be transformed into a desk if necessary.
The second owner's full-beam stateroom is located on the lower deck and is complete with a generous bathroom with double sink and a walk-in closet.
There is also space for two guest cabins complete with en-suite bathrooms and wardrobes, the starboard side with a double bed and the port side with two single beds sliding into one double bed + one folding bed.

The shipyard has maximized the innovative "walk-around" solution for the flybridge: it is a completely open and accessible all around bridge (from here "walk-around") with the helm station - completely redundant in the controls with the internal one - almost in the center of the ship, leaving the entire surface of the bridge for the use by the Owner and guests. The advantage and comfort are very clear: there are no obstacles, no doors or openings to activate, no steps. Everything is on a single level in order to allow an uninterrupted and totally unique communication between the aft area of the flybridge and the one in the front, thus being able to move easily.

The reason behind this decision comes from the fact of being able to enjoy, on the flybridge, the incredible surface of about 110 square meters., to be used completely free from obstacles from stern to bow, facilitating in this way the use of the flybridge area.
The whole sun deck area can therefore be used as a sunbathing area and lounge/dining area or, if desired, it is possible to completely clear the flybridge from all the chaise longue to live it as a terrace, even for some event or exclusive party on board. All enriched by a beautiful
