May 9 to 12, 2019 return to Viareggio, Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous

The third edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous (www.versiliayachtingrendezvous.it) will take place in Viareggio from May 9, Thursday to May 12, 2019 Sunday. The international event dedicated to high-end yachting organized by Fiera Milano in collaboration with the significant partner Nautica Italiana, with the support of the Distretto Tecnologico per la nautica e la portualità Toscana (Technological District for Tuscan nautical and ports), with the contribution of Regione Toscana and Toscana Promozione.

A unique event of its kind, a reference point for shipyards and operators in the sector thanks to a rich presence of the Italian shipbuilding industry's historical brands, which have a strong settlement and tradition in Toscana (Tuscany) and Versilia. A world where design, technology and high-quality craftsmanship are combined in a region recognized by the world for its beauty, art, hospitality and Italian lifestyle. 

A business platform that achieved 22 thousand visitors last year (59% from European countries and 41% from non-EU countries), where there were 10 thousand operators in the sector, and a unique international showcase guaranteed by the presence of a qualified selection of buyers, thanks to the ICE support who also decided to aid the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous for 2019. 

The event reinforces its model dedicated to maxi yachts and the supply chain (accessories, parts, engines, marinas and services) where Tender & Toys sections are added, as well as the new Luxury Tenders & Ribs districts and the Broker district. These two new areas, located in the European dock and in the Italian dock, will be identified with high visibility color solutions. Moreover, to facilitate a smoother and more consistent visit, there will be a single entrance located north of the Italian dock which will allow visitors a "one-way" path along the perimeter of the hall to admire the boats situated along the two docks.

The month is filled with off the show events developed in the region with the collaboration of associations and Municipalities of Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta. A mix of Sailing, Art, Design, Fashion and Food to offer the visitor a 360-degree lifestyle experience. In this same year in fact, the exclusive party reserved for exhibitors will return on the opening day of the show, the VYR happy hour along via Coppino scheduled on May 10, Friday, and the day dedicated to the combination of Art and Sailing scheduled on May 11, Saturday. 

An area is also reserved to the conference and b2b matching events with the B&ST (Broker and Shipyard Trading) organized by Navigo and reserved to the business between brokerage companies and shipyards to create synergy and advantage between two key players in the yacht and superyacht industry.
