The Valencia Boat Show opens registrations with a new chat service

- The Valencia Boat Show offers an innovative additional service for exhibitors.

The Valencia Boat Show has already opened the registration period for exhibitors for the 2019 edition, which will be held from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November in La Marina de València. The event this year has a new format, strategically combining the offer of sale of new boats, engines, accessories and marine services with an ambitious plan of citizenship interaction and nautical, gastronomic, cultural and innovation proposals for all audiences completely free of charge.

Precisely in this line of innovation, the Valencia Boat Show has launched an online chat system for exhibitors, through the website https://valenciaboat.com. This new tool has already paid off, as several companies, including an Italian nautical craftsmanship firm, have already used it to request information on the conditions of the boat show, the registration process and to clarify doubts.

“It is a more convenient, faster and more direct tool, which we believe is very attractive for many exhibitors who will require just a few seconds to contact us. The marine industry has to adapt to these new times in which immediacy has become an added value,” said the director of the Valencia Boat Show, Nacho Gómez-Zarzuela. “One of our priorities this year is to offer a totally personalised service and treatment to the exhibitors, and we believe that this system is good evidence of that” said the event director.

The online chat is available 24 hours a day, with a personalised and immediate response from the show’s team from Monday to Friday (working days) between 9am and 7pm. If someone uses it outside these hours, the chat generates an automatic message requesting the user’s email so that he or she can be contacted as soon as possible.

Recovery of the Alinghi building
The Valencia Boat Show will recover and make full use of the legendary Alinghi building, base of operations of the defender of the 32nd America’s Cup. The base of the Swiss team will host numerous activities for all audiences related to sailing as a projection of films, a photography exhibition with the five best Spanish sailing photographers and areas dedicated to training, innovation, sustainability, culture and marine traditions.

Discount until the 1st of June 
Another incentive offered this year to exhibitors is the 10% discount in the overall exhibition budget with an additional 50% in the registration fee for those who finalise registration before the 1st of June. “This discount is more advantageous the more exhibition metres and services are contracted, and we believe that it can be particularly interesting for boat exhibitors. In addition, it allows us to work with a greater foresight when it comes to distributing the space, which is a good thing for everyone,” we are told by the organisers, who added for the record that no last-minute discounts will be negotiated.

Members of the Union of Nautical Companies (UEN), joint organisers of the show together with La Marina de València, may also benefit from a 10% discount on all items contracted at the Valencia Boat Show provided they meet a minimum of 12 months as associates.
