Venezia Certosa Marina will present its news at the Venice Boat Show

The Venezia Certosa Marina faces the 2019 season with a series of important innovations: the Boat Show will be the stage to present them to boaters and yachting operators who will meet for the first time in the historic center of Venice, in the splendid setting of the Arsenale from 18 to 23 June.

The Certosa will be present in  different stands: at the Tese alle Nappe 91, with the Isola della Certosa and the Venezia Certosa Marina in the foreground, which is set as a priviliged destination to discover Venice and the lagoon aboard your own boat thanks to its position and the integrated services for recreational boating.

The soon to be completed maritime works  will allow up to 400 units, with a new set-up of the Southern Area (outer port) which can accommodate 14 Superyachts up to 80 meters even with considerable draft thanks to the last dredging operations. 

The complementary services of the Marina have also been developed with the opening of a minimarket and shipchandler in collaboration with the French brand USHIP which will guarantee the customers of the marina, the shipyard and all the boaters and sea-professionals active in the lagoon the best equipment supplier on the market.

The Venezia Certosa Marina has also been chosen as the basis of Dream Yacht Charter, the number one charter operator in the world active in 50 countries with more than a thousand boats, including the first base in the lagoon. The multi-year project involves the establishment of a fleet of sailing boats (monohulls and catamarans) from 40 to 60 feet, used for charter and nautical school in the lagoon and the Adriatic.

Both USHIP and Dream Yacht Charter will be present at the show with a stand at Tesa 91.

The second stand of Venezia Certosa Marina will be in the Mare Laguna area and will present the Certosa shipyard, available to Marina customers for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services, which continues its tradition and artisan origin through the construction and maintenance of typical boats and traditional Venetian lagoon, as well as a motor unit of contemporary conception thanks to the craftsmen of the Cantiere F.lli Vidal: for the occasion, two Certosa 750 wooden motorboats will be on display, set up in an "open" "walk around" version with an outboard motor. The units will be on land and in water, available for sea trials.

The Boat Show will also be an opportunity to celebrate the assignment to the Venice Certosa Marina of the first Blue Flag for the harbours of the Municipality of Venice, to witness the attention to environmental sustainability and the preservation of the natural heritage of the lagoon: this important recognition that Venice already obtains for years with its beaches, for the first time it is assigned to a marina according to criteria of environmental education and information, environmental management, services and safety, water quality and corporate social responsibility

Last, not least, is the Venice Superyacht Destination booth, a brand created together with Venice Yacht Pier and Marina Sant'Elena for the promotion of the superyacht segment in Venice, thanks to the infrastructures and services offered by the three companies.

After participating in the Düsseldorf Motor Show and the commitment of the association in the organizing committee of the Venice Boat Show, the joint presence of the three operators was strategic to increase the arrivals of large yachts in the historic center of Venice as carriers of a high.-level tourism. Venice Superyacht Destination is a brand that aims to develop the market of large yachts and related services through a communication plan and joint actions to harmonize and simplify the procedures for entry into the lagoon of pleasure boats.
