Nico Martinez, Nic Douglass, Nathalie Quéré, Nicolas Mirabaud, Elena Otekina and Nacho Gomez-Zarzuela will select the world’s best sailing videos produced in 2019.

July 9, 2019 - The Mirabaud Sailing Video Award announces the composition of its international jury for the third edition of the event. The following personalities will select the world’s best sailing videos produced this year: Nico Martinez (photographer), Nic Douglass (blogger & sailor), Nathalie Quéré (sports marketing expert), Nicolas Mirabaud (Managing Partner, Mirabaud), Elena Otekina (journalist, Yacht Russia) and Nacho Gomez-Zarzuela (director of the Valencia Boat Show).

The Mirabaud Sailing Video Award aims to celebrate the best sailing videos produced each year and their authors. This is a unique annual competition for TV professionals: cameramen, directors, editors, TV production companies and professional sailors who film their achievements during regattas.

Nicolas Mirabaud, Managing Partner of Mirabaud Group, declares about this edition: "We are looking forward to discovering the videos. They showcase beautiful images, but above all they are about telling a story. Camera operators allow us to witness first-hand these spectacular adventures where sailors, amateurs and professionals alike, give it their all."

The winners of the third edition of the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award will be celebrated at the Yacht Racing Forum in Bilbao (ESP) on 25 and 26 November during an awards ceremony attended by the sports’ leading personalities.

Professional filmmakers and video producers, as well as sailors who film their achievements during regattas, are invited to submit their videos until October 23, 2019 at midnight GMT. The public will be able to view the images on the event website.
