2019 Annual Conference - 28 October - What's on the agenda?

As World Sailing's Annual Conference gets in full flow, Monday's programme will be spearheaded by the first forum of the week - Sail Insight powered by SAP: Self-Service App for Global Sailing Community followed by - Gender Balance: A Case for Change.

Commencing at 14:30 local time, the Forum will enable delegates in attendance and those watching on World Sailing's YouTube channel here - https://youtu.be/B2G5cKhZap4 - to gain exclusive insight into the new Sail Insight app powered by SAP and hear about the World Sailing Trust's global strategic review on women in sailing.

The programme will see numerous Sub-committees meet to discuss a wide range of topics within the sport.

The Match Racing Sub-committee will discuss the programme of global match racing events and how to grow the discipline. The Equipment Rules Sub-committee will dive into a large number of submissions regarding the 2021-2024 edition of the Equipment Rules of Sailing and the Special Regulations Sub-committee will go through the Submissions related to the Offshore Special Regulations.

International Umpires will hold their Sub-committee meeting and review their strategy and applications for race official status.

The Olympic Classes Sub-committee will go through the World Sailing event strategy for 2021 - 2028 as well as receiving reports on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Regional Games Sub-committee will also talk about the events held in 2019 and look ahead to 2020. To conclude the day, an open Women's Forum will be held.
