Team Italia confirms once again its role as international leader in the field of electronic solutions for integrated NAV COM solutions - further evidence lies in the innovative i-Bridge installed on  board Codecasa’s 55m  M/Y Framura, which was designed working with the shipyard.

This bridge has an unusual design, a modern interpretation that brings to mind the observation point at the helm of the old sailing ships: the presence of a central, walk-around island and two side peninsulas placed against the windows, ensures total control in every operational situation.

The mixture of tradition and extremely reliable modern architecture is, without doubt, one of the most innovative aspects of this new bridge by TEAM Italia, which once again has successfully integrated multiple onboard systems to achieve greater reaction speed and ease of use.

At the captain’s service are three multi-control units consisting in trackball, jogger and a 7” touch-screen on each workstation, which are further equipped with a 24” touch-screen control station. There are four navigation displays on the port and starboard peninsula units, while the main 44’’ display screen for modular conning is installed overhead. The architecture of the Team Italia i-Bridge® ensures triple redundancy, which is extremely important especially in terms of safety.

Team Italia has always considered after-sales assistance extremely important: the integrated I-Bridge of the Codecasa M/Y Framura is equipped with a Remote Diagnostic System designed and built by Team Italia’s R&D department.

Using this system, after gaining access through the yacht’s specific authentication and authorisation procedures, the technicians in the Service department can carry out ordinary maintenance activities remotely. The time required to diagnose (and solve) a problem occurring on the yacht is in this way dramatically reduced, therefore increasing navigation safety.
