Turkish shipyard Sirena Yachts has released images and an update showing the successful construction progress of its largest model to date: the 42-meter Sirena Superyachts 42M.
Marking a significant milestone in the brand’s continued expansion into the superyacht segment, the 42M flagship is currently in the painting phase, with the hull and superstructure nearing completion. Major systems installation is ongoing, including the installation of its main engines, while interior joinery and outfitting works are also progressing in parallel.
Penned by the Italian duo of Luca Vallebona (exterior and interior layouts) and Hot Lab (interior design) – part of The Viken Group – the Sirena Superyachts 42M’s naval architecture is by the Dutch studio Van Oossanen, which has equipped the vessel with its highly efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF).
Technical triumph
A technical marvel in its design, the 42M’s proven hull form ensures exceptional efficiency and comfort at both high and low speeds. The hull’s optimization enables greater interior volume (at 433 GT, it offers one of the highest internal volumes in the 40-45m range) without increasing drag. The result is an excellent space-to-length ratio.
Other innovations found on board the 42M superyacht include its Tier III-compliant propulsion systems, hybrid-ready architecture for reduced emissions and silent operation, advanced vibration and noise isolation for remarkable onboard comfort, and the use of environmentally responsible materials.
An architectural journey
Described as an ‘architectural journey’ by its creators, the innovative design of the Sirena Superyachts 42M invites those stepping on board to experience the vessel through texture, light and spatial flow, with each transition between areas having its own intentional design rhythm. This encourages slow living and a deep connection to the sea.
Standout features on board the Sirena Superyachts 42M include its generous master cabin complete with private patio, the numerous open entertaining areas, large exterior relaxation zones and the enormous beach club with convenient drop-down bulwarks.
A semi-custom creation
The layout of the upcoming Sirena Superyachts 42M builds will be highly customizable to meet the individual preferences of their future owners. For example, the spacious owner’s suite can be positioned on either the main or upper deck, allowing for different configurations — such as a dedicated formal dining area in the saloon or a more relaxed arrangement — as well as the option to create a bow guest area designed for high-end dining or tranquil relaxation.
This hotly anticipated project is progressing on track towards its launch and sea trials in mid-2026.
