Genova for Yachting, the association representing Genoa’s professional yachting cluster with 60 member companies, will participate in the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from Tuesday 9th to Sunday 14th September in the stunning setting of the Vieux Port & Port Canto in Cannes.

Genova for Yachting is part of a collective of Ligurian companies coordinated by Riviere Liguria, a special agency of the Chamber of Commerce “Riviere di Liguria”, and Liguria International. The collective will be present with a booth at the Palais du Festival, within the Luxury Gallery (stand PALAIS032), alongside other nautical and superyacht industry operators.

Giovanni Costaguta, President of Genova for Yachting, stated: “Being present in Cannes as part of a project that promotes Liguria’s nautical excellence is a strategic choice that aligns with our goal of working together to strengthen the maritime vocation of our region and to promote our city. We aim to showcase its strategic location, natural beauty and the unique characteristics and cross-sector strengths of our cluster. In 2024, the yachting sector in Genoa generated a turnover of €630 million across the entire supply chain in the region. This corresponds to 3,150 jobs and an estimated contribution to Liguria’s GDP of €222 million, of which approximately 50% comes from non-nautical sectors such as manufacturing, services, professional industries, supplies, transport, commerce, hospitality, and catering. With these figures, Genova for Yachting – a strategic cluster for the development of the blue economy – demonstrates Genoa’s capability to compete with the main Mediterranean and global hubs in the field of large yacht services.”
