Aqua superPower, the world’s first dedicated marine fast-charging network, enters into a strategic partnership with Hellonext, a high-tech, top-tier international manufacturer of DC charging solutions. Hellonext has already established a presence in the marine electrification sector, with multiple operational charging installations across Spain, demonstrating proven capability in delivering high-performance infrastructure for ports and marinas.
Hellonext elected to partner with Aqua superPower to support the joint expansion of marine fast-charging networks across Europe and beyond. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the transition to electric marine transportation by combining best-in-class charging hardware with a fully integrated digital and operational ecosystem designed specifically for marine application.
Under the agreement, Aqua superPower will serve as the default Charge Point Management System (CPMS) for Hellonext’s marine deployments. Leveraging its expertise as both a Charge Point Operator (CPO) and eMobility Service Provider (EMSP), Aqua superPower will deliver a comprehensive suite of services, including CPMS, connectivity, SIM management, platform monitoring, and end-user EMSP functionality. Through its role as an eMobility Service Provider (EMSP), Aqua superPower will actively direct and enable its growing network of electric vessel users to access Hellonext installations, increasing utilisation, driving footfall, and enhancing revenue opportunities for Charge Point Operators.
Hellonext’s advanced AC and DC charging systems, engineered for demanding marine environments, will be seamlessly integrated into Aqua superPower’s Neptune backend platform. Aqua superPower will manage end-to-end operations, including remote monitoring, dynamic load balancing, billing, roaming, maintenance coordination, and 24/7 customer support, ensuring high reliability and an optimal user experience for electric vessel operators.
With a global network consistently achieving over 98% uptime, Aqua superPower provides round-the-clock helpdesk support alongside a digital self-service portal, enabling rapid issue resolution and seamless access to charging services. The company also brings deep expertise in interoperability, supporting integration with a growing ecosystem of electric boat builders and vessel technologies.
The two companies will actively collaborate on commercial opportunities, sharing leads and jointly delivering integrated hardware and software solutions tailored to the evolving needs of ports, marinas, and harbour authorities.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our strategy to become the go-to CPMS and EMSP partner across the marine and wider electromobility sectors,” said Karen Gill, COO of Aqua superPower. “By selecting Hellonext as a strategic supplier, we are aligning with a proven technology leader in DC charging and marine infrastructure. Together, we bring a compelling combination of proven hardware and a scalable digital platform, accelerating the deployment of marine charging infrastructure worldwide while expanding the Aqua network for our users and unlocking greater utilisation and revenue for ports and marinas.”
Manuel Sande e Castro, Global Sales Director, added: “Hellonext is committed to delivering high-performance charging solutions that support the global energy transition. With established marine installations already operating in Spain, we have demonstrated the reliability of our technology in real-world environments. Partnering with Aqua superPower allows us to enhance our offering with a best-in-class CPMS and EMSP platform, creating a complete, turnkey solution for customers and accelerating the adoption of electric marine mobility.”
The agreement underscores Aqua superPower’s platform interoperability and its role in enabling third-party hardware integration, opening new opportunities for infrastructure providers seeking a fully managed, professional-grade solution without the need for in-house software development.
Initial deployments under the partnership will build on Hellonext’s existing footprint in Spain, including key marine hubs such as Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, with further international expansion planned throughout the year.
