Baglietto’s T52 line now counts nine units. On 22 October hull 10261, a 52-metre yacht, was launched at the shipyard’s facilities in La Spezia. Francesco Paszkowski Design drew the exterior lines and also handled the interior design, working with Margherita Casprini.

The ceremony was private. The owner attended with family and close friends, together with the Aberton Yachts team, which followed the build stages alongside the yard. The launch completes a fundamental stage of the build.

“A launch is always a very emotional moment, because it is the tangible result of the work, skill and passion of everyone involved in the project,” said Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. “With this ninth unit, the T52 line confirms its ability to meet owners’ expectations through a strong, recognisable identity, while leaving room for customisation and for what makes each yacht unique. It is precisely this combination that turns every Baglietto project into a special journey, in which a personal vision takes shape and becomes reality.”

At the most recent Monaco Yacht Show the La Spezia yard unveiled two new projects. The Fast50 brings a new approach to speed and performance into the Baglietto range. The T60 becomes the new flagship and takes the yard further into the large-yacht segment.

Baglietto builds aluminium planing boats and steel-and-aluminium displacement and semi-displacement yachts from 35 to 65 metres, across two production sites. The headquarters in La Spezia covers about 35,000 square metres. In recent years the yard has built three new sheds there for vessels up to 65 metres, along with quays equipped for ships up to 70 metres. The site also has a travel lift of about 1,200 tonnes, which the company describes as the largest in Europe, for hauling out and launching yachts up to 65 metres. In Carrara there are two areas of 5,000 square metres each. The first builds military vessels under the Baglietto Navy brand and some Bertram Yachts models, a brand that joined the group in 2015. In the second, four new sheds are dedicated to the Dom line and to yachts up to 46 metres.
