Galeon has unveiled the 420 FLY, the newest boat in the flybridge range built at Straszyn. It follows on from the 400 FLY and keeps the same practical dimensions, which the yard considers suitable for a wide range of marinas and cruising areas, with revised styling and a reworked interior. The boat is laid out over three levels.

Externally the yard points to a sleek profile, balanced proportions and enlarged side windows, with extensive glazing that echoes the larger models in the range. The aft cockpit has an L-shaped sofa with a folding table and a wet bar; the symmetrical layout makes moving around easier and links the outdoor and indoor areas. Sun pads are fitted at the bow. With both side balconies extended the beam reaches 5.90 metres and, together with the enlarged platform, the aft area turns into an open-air terrace close to the water.

On the main deck, dining, lounging and navigation share one space. To starboard a C-shaped sofa with a folding table works as both dinette and lounge, while a smaller sofa to port adds seating. The galley sits alongside, so meals and drinks can be prepared without leaving the room. The main helm station is forward to starboard, with a double seat, good visibility and direct access to the navigation and control systems.

The lower deck holds two cabins, each with its own bathroom. The master is amidships, full beam, with a king-size bed and generous stowage; headroom has been increased compared with the reference model. The VIP cabin in the bow is intended for family or guests.

The flybridge is where the outdoor entertaining happens: a large seating and dining area with a folding table, a grill and a wet bar, plus the second helm station in a central position with all-round visibility.

The 420 FLY comes with a choice of two drive systems, DPI sterndrive or conventional shaft drive, depending on cruising grounds, water depth and the owner's preferences. Maximum power is 2 x 353 kW (480 hp).
