The Beneteau Gran Turismo 50 made her international in-water debut at the 2026 Venice Boat Show, held at the Arsenale from 27 to 31 May. The model is the flagship of the Gran Turismo range, fully renewed starting with the 35 and 40 introduced at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2025.

For the Venice show, Beneteau released the first official images of the yacht, shot between the canals of Venice and the waters of Corsica. Alongside the Gran Turismo 50, the yard displayed the Gran Turismo 40 and the Grand Trawler 63.

The Gran Turismo 50's design approach centres on layout and ergonomics. Interior and exterior spaces are connected by large glazed surfaces, with onboard circulation designed for continuity between the living areas. The helm station follows what the yard describes as automotive-inspired ergonomics. The design references the Japanese principles of Kanso and Yūgen, resulting in clean lines, calibrated volumes and careful material and finish selection.

The model also marks a new chapter in the collaboration between Beneteau and Alpine, the French car manufacturer founded in 1955. The Gran Turismo 50 Alpine Limited Edition, developed with Alpine's design team, features an Abyss Blue hull, navy and black interior finishes and a dedicated sport steering wheel.

Beneteau, founded in 1884, builds sailing boats, outboard and inboard motor boats. The current range comprises eight lines and over 30 models.
