The 19th edition of Convergence, the annual event organized by Ferretti Group, was held from March 15 to 18, bringing together captains and chief engineers of the Group’s yachts for a direct discussion on technical and operational aspects related to vessel management.

Following previous international editions, the event returned to Italy, with stops at the Ravenna shipyard and the Ancona Superyacht Yard, two production hubs central to the Group’s industrial development. The choice of locations highlighted the construction process and the evolution of production infrastructure, which has been the focus of significant investments in recent years.

The first day was dedicated to plenary sessions, with a focus on product development processes and integrated design. Management also presented an update on the Group’s performance, international positioning and future outlook, alongside commercial insights and product range developments.

The second day took place at the Ravenna shipyard, the newest and largest among the Group’s seven production sites. Participants were able to observe the main stages of yacht construction, from fiberglass molding to painting facilities and assembly lines.

Particular attention was given to the Digital Production system, which integrates the engineering department’s design activities with on-site production. During the visit, models currently under construction were presented, including units from the wallywhy range and the Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO line, with updates on their progress.

The day concluded in the dock area, where guests viewed newly launched yachts ready for delivery and attended demonstrations by technical partners involved in onboard systems and equipment.

The third day took place in Ancona, home to the Superyacht Yard and a key hub for large yacht production. Participants visited the production areas dedicated to ongoing projects, including prototypes of the Custom Line Navetta 35 and Custom Line Saetta 128’, as well as large-scale builds such as the 86m CRN M/Y 144 and the 67m CRN M/Y 146, alongside the Custom Line 50.

During the visit, the newly renovated Superyacht Division spaces and dock area activities were also presented. A dedicated area for technical partners and an After Sales & Service corner provided further information on the services offered to owners.

The final day was devoted to direct discussions between participants and the Group’s engineering and commercial teams, with Q&A sessions and technical insights. During the meeting, RINA presented topics related to yacht certification and classification, highlighting the role of safety and quality standards.

The event involved numerous industrial partners, present both as sponsors and through technical demonstrations, underlining the importance of the supply chain in yacht design and construction. It was also emphasized how these partners are involved from the earliest stages of product development, contributing specific expertise to the integration of onboard systems.
