Tankoa Yachts has announced the sale of the T720 Fenice, a 72-metre full custom superyacht built for an American owner, introduced by his representative Matt Von Bishop together with Jean-Claude Carme of TWW Yachts. The transaction reinforces the shipyard’s presence in the US market and confirms its positioning in the upper segment of custom yacht building.
The yacht is conceived as a fully bespoke project, developed from the earliest stages around the owner’s vision. Exterior design is by Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design, while the interiors are designed by Giorgio Cassetta.
With a length of 72 metres, the T720 Fenice is scheduled for delivery in 2030 and will become the second flagship of the Tankoa fleet, alongside Casino Royale (ex SOLO), currently on display at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The project represents an evolution of the earlier T680 Fenice, further developed into a more articulated proposal in terms of design and content. According to Claudio Corvino, Sales & Business Development Manager at Tankoa Yachts, the yacht is the result of a collaborative process involving the shipyard, the owner and the project team, with the owner actively engaged from the outset.
The T720 Fenice reflects Tankoa’s ongoing focus on developing full custom projects in close cooperation with international designers, addressing the increasingly specific requirements of a global clientele, particularly in the segment above 70 metres.
