AB Yachts, a brand of the Next Yacht Group, launched the first unit of the AB 95S on 11 March 2026 at its Viareggio shipyard. The yacht is the Sport version of the AB 95. Measuring 28.45 metres in length with a maximum beam of 6.80 metres, it exceeds 53 knots in the fast-lap configuration.

The boat was sold to an American owner through brokerage house FGI Yacht Group. Broker Simon Graham commented: “The launch marks an exciting milestone for the owner and the entire team that worked on the project, and we are proud to have represented the buyer in bringing such an exceptional yacht to life.”

Compared to the AB 95, the S version features a wraparound windshield and a retractable roof integrated into the superstructure profile, which lowers the overall lines of the boat.

On the main deck, the cockpit connects with the interior saloon. Aft, a beach area accommodates a tender of four metres or more, a jet ski and various water toys. The helm station uses the “integrated bridge by AB Yachts” system, developed in collaboration with Fincantieri. Below deck, insulated panels, leather and suede contribute to noise reduction.

The Lower Deck houses the sleeping quarters, with a full-beam owner’s suite and guest cabins for up to eight persons in total. The crew area is separate.

Power comes from three MAN V12X-2200 engines producing a combined 6,600 hp. According to the yard, the AB 95S is among the first yachts on the market to be fitted with these engines. Hull and deck are built in composite with extensive use of carbon fibre; displacement is around 93 tonnes. Transmission relies on two steerable MJP waterjets and one central MJP booster; stabilisation is provided by a Seakeeper size 26. Maximum draught at full load is 1.35 metres.

Following the launch, sea trials have begun. Delivery to the owner is scheduled for April 2026.
