BWA Yachting has officially launched its operations in the UAE, marking an expansion of its Middle East presence. The new office in Dubai aims to enhance superyacht services across the Emirates, aligning with the company's strategy to connect key maritime routes.
BWA Yachting, known for its global superyacht agency and maritime support services, has opened a new office in Dubai, UAE. This expansion follows recent openings in Saudi Arabia and the Maldives, reinforcing the company's strategy to establish a connected service network across significant maritime routes in the region.
The UAE office, located in Tameem House, Barsha Heights, Dubai, will be managed by Abdulaziz Higgi, Head of BWA Yachting KSA & UAE. The office will support superyacht movements across major UAE ports and marinas, ensuring consistent service standards for vessels transiting between the Suez Canal, the Gulf, and the Indian Ocean.
Stel Choulakis will lead the UAE operational team, bringing extensive experience in port logistics, formalities, and technical support. According to Paschalis Patsiokas, CEO of BWA Yachting, the UAE launch is a strategic step in consolidating the company's Middle East infrastructure, enhancing efficiency and response times across major touchpoints.
Abdulaziz Higgi emphasized the strategic importance of the UAE as a hub for superyacht traffic, highlighting the benefits of having a local presence to respond quickly and leverage strong local relationships.
BWA Yachting UAE will provide comprehensive coverage across the Emirates' major yachting destinations, including Dubai's Dubai Harbour Marina, Mina Rashid Marina, and Palm Jumeirah Marina, as well as Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina and Emirates Palace Marina. The coverage extends to Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain.
The UAE team will offer a full range of maritime and superyacht support services, such as port clearances, berth arrangements, bunkering, immigration processing, crew logistics, technical assistance, and VIP concierge services. They will also provide bespoke onboard and onshore experience planning, off-season storage solutions, and VIP transport options.
The launch coincides with the UAE's significant investments in marina capacity, port upgrades, and luxury maritime infrastructure, positioning the country as a central hub for yacht movements. BWA Yachting UAE will operate in compliance with national port regulations and maritime protocols, offering a single point of contact for captains and yacht managers, supported by global standards and local expertise.
