At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, one of the world’s most prestigious yachting events, the spotlight shines on the stunning S/Y Magic — a superb expression of Dutch craftsmanship and contemporary design. Built by Vitters Shipyard in the Netherlands and delivered in 2025, Magic (44.3 metres) was presented by Burgess and moored at berth H08, Quai L’Hirondelle.
Dynamic Lines and a Modern Soul
With exterior design by Reichel/Pugh, Magic reveals a sporty yet elegant character. Her sleek lines, extensive glass surfaces, and well-balanced proportions between bow and stern give her a distinctly modern and assertive profile. The clean foredeck, made possible by the use of recessed anchors, ensures an uncluttered and streamlined look.
Vitters has meticulously refined every detail, integrating retractable v-bollards to preserve the visual harmony of the deck. The cockpit’s profile extends seamlessly from the main structure, offering shade and comfort even in less favorable weather conditions.
Interiors: Light, Harmony, and Connection with the Sea
Behind her athletic silhouette lies an interior that celebrates light and openness. Expansive glazing and sliding doors create a fluid dialogue between inside and out, blending the living spaces with the sea beyond.
The full-beam owner’s suite, located aft, includes a private study and “his and hers” walk-in wardrobes. Guest cabins are arranged forward, including a twin-bunk cabin designed for younger guests. In total, Magic accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, with a crew of approximately 7.
The interior palette is understated and refined, featuring natural tones, carefully selected materials, and a sense of calm continuity that echoes the owner’s personal aesthetic.
Performance and Technology
Powered by a MAN D2676 LE428 engine delivering 560 hp, Magic cruises comfortably at 9 knots with a top speed of 12 knots. Her fuel capacity allows a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.
A dedicated onboard battery system provides up to 8 hours of silent operation. All sail-handling systems — including winches, battens, and tensioners — are hydraulically powered and engineered in-house by Vitters to combine precision with aesthetic integration.
Magic was officially delivered to her owner in early 2025, following her launch on January 3rd at the Zwartsluis facility and subsequent rigging of her 62-metre mast. After sea trials in Amsterdam, she set course for her maiden destination: Cascais.
The Monaco Debut: A Touch of Magic on the Mediterranean
At the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Magic stands out as one of the most captivating sailing yachts on display, among the year’s most anticipated premieres. Presented by Burgess at berth H08, visitors have the chance to admire her refined lines, sophisticated rig, and inviting interiors up close.
Her presence at the show marks Magic’s official introduction to the international stage — an opportunity to engage with clients, media, and the industry at large. With her discreet elegance, technical excellence, and balance between design and performance, Magic bridges the world of high-performance racing and refined cruising, embodying the essence of contemporary sailing luxury.
